DotNet Liguria è orgogliosa di presentare il secondo evento gratuito del 2012: appuntamento destinato ad architetti software, sviluppatori e appassonati della tecnologia Microsoft.NET, per rimanere aggiornati alle ultime novità sull’argomento. Questo appuntamento prevede due sessioni a cui è possibile partecipare anche separatamente entrando alle 17.00 o alle 18.00.
- Round Table: Overview della development platform per lo sviluppo Metro

L'evento inizia con una prima parte interattiva dove prenderemo in esame il
nuovo Visual Studio 11 Beta 1 e le nuove caratteristiche per sviluppare
applicazioni Metro.
Vedremo la struttura del codice creata dai wizard di Visual Studio e come
questo possa essere facilmente modificato per supportare il prezioso pattern
MVVM.
- WinRT beta 1. La piattaforma è pronta

La sessione inizierà con una rapida panoramica all'architettura di WinRT.
Proseguiremo quindi analizzando il codice delle demo già viste durante la
roundtable per capire le motivazioni e le implicazioni a livello di
architettura del Windows Runtime.
- Il pattern asincrono in .NET 4.5 e in Metro

C# 5.0 introduce due nuove keyword che rivoluzioneranno il modo di scrivere
codice multithreading. Le novità toccano sia le attuali applicazioni desktop
e server che il nuovo mondo Metro dove le funzioni di libreria che
potrebbero impiegare più di 50ms sono esposte solo come asincrone.
La sessione comincerà con una veloce panoramica sui Task già presenti nel
Framework 4.0.
Quindi vedremo nel dettaglio come si usano le keywork async/await, e diversi
casi d'uso classici come la gestione delle eccezioni, l'annullamento
dell'esecuzione, la gestione del progresso ed altri interessanti usi.
A fine evento, nella migliore tradizione degli user group, organizzeremo sul momento una cena nei pressi dell'evento
